Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as a reporter and anchor for WPDE-TV located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. She worked later as a morning news anchor at WCBD TV and acted as an investigative reporter. O'Dell's reports in Charleston about the police's leniency in DUI cases prompted a State Law Enforcement Division to look into the matter. The result was states authorities enforcing more rigorous regulations in these cases. The Associated Press honored Ms. O'Dell with its Best Report of the Years Award in all South Carolina Media. In the years following her stay in Charleston, O'Dell worked as a co-anchor for NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV as well as an investigative reporter. After that, she became a part of Access Hollywood to work as an anchor on weekends and weekdays. In addition to her current role as anchor on Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell is also an anchor for NBC News' Today and in addition for Dateline NBC.
